FYI. A public hearing was held by the Madison City Council at the Madison Municipal Complex located at 100 Hughes Road on September 14, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. for a request to rezone the property at 1568 Slaughter Road (house across Slaughter Road from the Potters Mill entrance). The request would rezone the property from R-1A, Low Density Residential District to B-2, Community Business District. The Madison Planning Commission had voted 8-0 to disapprove the zoning request. The Madison City Council voted to disapprove the rezoning request. Great news!! Please pass this information on to your neighbors.
