A message from Potter’s Mill HOA President Randy Gloyd:
FYI. A public hearing will held by the Madison Planning Commission at the Madison Municipal Complex located at 100 Hughes Road on August 20, 2015 at 5:30 P.M. for a request to rezone the property at 1568 Slaughter Road (house across Slaughter Road from the Potters Mill entrance). The request would rezone the property from R-1A, Low Density Residential District to B-2, Community Business District. If approved, the request would impact property values in our subdivision by changing the property to commercial in a subdivision that has protective covenants like we have. Any commercial activities would increase traffic on Slaughter Road which would increase the wait time for Potters Mill residents entering and exiting our subdivision. If you are available, please attend this meeting to support opposition to this rezoning request. Please pass this information on to your neighbors.
